TNT Express is Bahrain’s first express provider to achieve the OHSAS 18001 prestigious international occupational health and safety certification. ‘Customer service is at the heart of everything we do and achieving OHSAS 18001 accreditation highlights our commitment to health and safety. Algerie Poste and French La Poste enter partnership

Algerian postal services provider Algerie Poste and French national post office La Poste have signed a partnership agreement for the modernisation of Algerie Poste’s electronic money transfer, it was reported on May 9, 2006. The move is part of Algerie Poste’s new engineering, marketing and commercial strategy and is aimed at improving the relations between the two companies. The partnership with La Poste is expected to enable the Algerian company to widen its portfolio and improve its positions on the postal services market in Africa.

DHL launches new heavyweight door-to-door service

DHL Middle East has launched a region-wide door-to-door heavyweight shipment delivery service, XL Express. Phil Couchman, Regional Director, DHL Middle East, said: ‘Effectively we are treating the region as one country with XL Express. Utilitising our region-wide experience we guarantee our customers’ heavyweight shipments are treated with the same level of expertise as smaller packages.
