DHL Middle East has launched a region-wide door-to-door heavyweight shipment delivery service, XL Express. Phil Couchman, Regional Director, DHL Middle East, said: ‘Effectively we are treating the region as one country with XL Express. Utilitising our region-wide experience we guarantee our customers’ heavyweight shipments are treated with the same level of expertise as smaller packages. It’s about providing our customers with a simple and convenient solution so goods can be transported throughout the region as easily as if it was one country.’ The service means that customers can now ship heavyweight goods in the same way as smaller, lighter packages. The benefits include day definite transit times and no hidden charges.

Emirates Post launches 'Direct2Door' parcel service to five Asian countries

The Emirates Post launched ‘Direct2Door’ parcel service to five Asian countries on Sunday. The service is backed by a money-back guarantee and track-and-trace facility and covers India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal. “We have partnered with reputed courier companies in the five countries to deliver parcels or documents directly to homes and offices,” said Abdullah Al Daboos, Director General of Emirates Post. The service offers delivery of personal packages of up to 30 kg in less than 10 days. It ensures delivery of documents and parcels in three days.
