The Ministry of Defence has awarded Palletways a £3m, three-year contract to handle palletised deliveries and collection to and from MOD suppliers. The MOD’s parcel requirements will be handled by Parcelforce and the same day courier services will be provided by MEH.

Changes to Selectapost and PO boxes from March 1 2004

Royal Mail is making changes to its Selectapost and PO boxes services from March 1 2004.

Selectapost
The new Selectapost product will offer:
• Sortation of up to 6,000 items a day for up to 25 selections
• Sortation of both standard sizes and larger letters.
• Packets sorted to a ‘residue’ category.
