Kuehne + Nagel wins Eni Norge contract
Kuehne + Nagel has won a contract to provide integrated transport, forwarding and customs clearance services to Eni Norge. The contract will span for four years, however the financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
Eni Norge is part of the Italian integrated energy company Eni and operates in oil and gas exploration and production.
The new agreement encompasses the provision of logistics services to Eni Norge for the development, drilling and operational phases of two new offshore projects – Goliat and Marulk.
The new offshore fields are located in the Barents Sea and Norwegian Sea to the north of the country.
“As an established logistics provider to this industry, Kuehne + Nagel’s Oil & Gas division is ideally placed to manage the requirements for Eni Norge’s exciting new developments in Norway,” said Leif Arne Strømmen, national manager, Oil & Gas, Kuehne + Nagel Norway.
“This unique opportunity also supports Kuehne + Nagel’s strategy to expand its offering to this market in northern Norway,” he added.
