Target Express moved to Leeds

Target Express has moved to new premises in Leeds to allow room for growth and give staff a more pleasant working environment.
The carrier said the £3.5m (t5m) investment had increased the depot size from 3,000sq metres to 5,500sq metres while maintaining excellent transport links next to the M62.

Depot general manager Julie Town said: “The move is driven by growth and the need to maintain and build on our capacity for key customers in the area. We have an excellent level of customer retention and moving to a larger depot with better facilities will only strengthen our position.” The Leeds depot has achieved the best overall performance out of all the company’s 50 UK depots for the past three years.
