Ex-Royal Mail chief to bolster DQ Global

Adam Novak, former managing director of Royal Mail Media Markets, has joined data and customer management specialist DQ Global.

As non-executive director, Novak will work closely with the management team, assisting with business schemes, as well as strategic guidance and advice, bringing experience and contacts from his days at the postal operator.

He will work with clients including Microsoft, Yahoo, KPMG and Kodak.

Martin Doyle, chief executive of DQ Global, says: “Adam brings a wealth of experience, within a marketing context and the wider business community. We are at an exciting stage in our development, with a world- beating product and clients, and, with additional input from Adam, can only get stronger.”

Novak worked at Royal Mail for 12 years. He was managing director of Media Markets from 1999 to 2002, before moving to general manager of the Wholesale division, until he left without a job to go to (PM December 19, 2003). He started his marketing career at Rowntree, now Nestle Rowntree, and SC Johnson.
