Swiss Post Solutions acquires document management business for £40 million
Swiss Post Solutions (SPS), a outsourcing provider for business process solutions and innovative services in document management, announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Mitie’s Document Management business from Mitie Group in the United Kingdom.
The deal is conditional on the completion of a TUPE* consultation process with employees of Mitie Document Management and is expected to complete by the end of September 2021.
As part of the acquisition, SPS takes over the respective customer base in the United Kingdom as well as over 900 employees. The clients, mainly from the Legal Services, Financial Services, Banking, Retail and Insurance sectors, will benefit from SPS´ enhanced service delivery capabilities, end-to-end solution portfolio and focus on leading-edge technology.
