207 companies active in Romanian postal services market

The Romanian postal services market currently comprises 207 active companies authorised by the market regulator ANRC, ANRC said on April 25, 2006.

Of the total, 160 companies offer non-value added services and 196 offer value added services.

Of the total 196 companies offering value added services, 118 offer insurance services for parcels with especially valuable contents, 108 companies offer a registered mail service. 151 companies offer collection protection insurance and 126 companies offer special courier services.
