SwipBox hits another record year

With more than 30,000 active parcel lockers delivered to international logistics and e-commerce partners in more than ten countries, 2022 became yet another record-breaking year for Danish SwipBox.

The 2022 result just published shows turnover up 60 % compared to 2021, continuing the company’s growth journey. Recently SwipBox was for the second time in a row featured on the Financial Times list of the 1,000 fastest growing companies in Europe.

“I’m happy and proud that we’re continuing the strong growth. It’s down to our partner’s intelligent APM networks, based on the Infinity parcel locker, as well as our highly skilled and dedicated employees. Good results enable us to strengthen our market-leading position and invest in developing existing and, in particular, new technologies,” said SwipBox CEO, Jens Rom.

Relieving customers’ pain points

SwipBox’s success is first and foremost down to the market-leading Infinity parcel locker, which is battery powered and so needs neither Wi-Fi nor mobile data connection. It’s operated through
apps and BLE technology and SwipBox guarantees incredible 10 years battery lifetime.

With no connections needed, the Infinity locker can be installed in less than 10 minutes, enabling scalable and flexible parcel locker networks. SwipBox has a continued focus on developing new solutions to relieve their partners’ pain points. Two such products are the AI Location Generator tool that drastically reduces resources spent on location scouting and the intelligent Circuit label, which enables circular packaging systems.

“It’s a part of our DNA to always be two steps ahead of the market and understand our customers’ needs – sometimes even before they do so themselves,” Jens Rom explains.

More new partners in 2023

Kasper Cort, SwipBox Chief Commercial Officer, emphasises how far the company has come, but stresses there is still huge potential in the market.

“We will continue to see high inflation and interest rates in 2023, which of course is a challenge for us just like it is for so many other companies. Despite this, we expect to continue our growth journey in the years to come,” said SwipBox CCO Kasper Cort and continued: “Fortunately, we enjoy very solid interest in our Infinity solution and expect to open market number 15 during the course of 2023,” Kasper Cort concluded.
