SwipBox and Peak Technologies take click & collect to new heights

The new click & collect solution from Peak Technologies and SwipBox will revolutionise duty-free shopping, allowing customers to conveniently pick up their purchases from an app-operated parcel locker located at the airport

The unique solution seamlessly integrates Peak’s Click & Collect/instore retail solutions with SwipBox’s revolutionary app-operated lockers that do not require power, data or permanent fixing, thus offering airport operators the ability to relocate lockers as and when required. Passengers will benefit greatly with the ability to collect their purchases 24/7 without queuing.

“Adding parcel lockers as a pickup option allows our retailers to offer their customers a higher degree of flexibility. In fact, what attracted us to the Infinity solution was its flexibility as a whole; with the installation time of just ten minutes we can easily add more lockers when needed during peak periods such as busy holiday seasons,” said Managing Director at Peak Technologies Europe René Schrama.

Apart from the Infinity locker, SwipBox will provide apps for both delivery and picking up – the latter using the new dedicated click & collect app.

“It’s great to partner with Peak Technologies, who are so strong within retail technology globally. Coupled with our expertise in lockers and locker apps we believe we have an attractive solution – and one that can be used not only in airports but in retail more widely,” said SwipBox CCO Kasper Cort, adding: “Our two brands have a great synergy, and I believe we can drive this far once retailers experience how smooth this click & collection solution is.”

Headquartered in the US, Peak Technologies are a well-established end-to-end technology solutions provider who work across various industry verticals with an impactful presence within the retail industry globally. The solution is rolled out by their European team in close collaboration with SwipBox, a global leader in the parcel locker market that has delivered more than 40,000 parcel lockers to customers in 30+ countries worldwide.

Peak Technologies’ click and collect solution featuring SwipBox lockers will soon launch in one of Ireland’s leading airports with further retailers and logistics companies coming on-stream in 2024.

SwipBox is focused on creating the world’s best user experience for delivering and picking up parcels using parcel lockers. Through a combination of intuitive network management software and hassle-free, app-operated parcel lockers, SwipBox delivers maximum convenience to logistics providers, retailers and end users alike.

The company is headquartered in Denmark and has additional offices in Pakistan, Poland and Australia. Together with partners, SwipBox always strives to optimise their solutions to reduce the carbon footprint in the first and last mile area.
