Austrian Post’s latest crypto stamp: an experience that goes far beyond classic stamp collecting

Following the success of the first joint edition in December 2024, Österreichische Post AG is launching a new, limited edition of Crypto stamp art (CSA) together with the renowned artist duo Hackatao. The Crypto stamp art will be issued on June 4, 2025 at 10 a.m.
The new Crypto stamp art is dedicated to two extraordinary personalities of Austrian history: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Hedy Lamarr. Both stand for genius, creativity and the courage to break through conventions. Hackatao interprets its complexity in four unique motifs:
- MOZART, THE MAESTRO – The Musical Visionary
- AMADEUS, THE PRANKSTER – The mischievous spirit behind the genius
- LAMARR, THE STAR – The glamorous screen icon
- HEDY, THE MIND – The brilliant inventor of modern communication
ART AND TECHNOLOGY – TWO WORLDS COMBINED
As with the first Crypto stamp art, physical and digital worlds merge to create a unique collecting experience. Each token is a so-called soulbound token – this means that the digital NFT is inextricably linked to the physical stamp and cannot be transferred. Authenticity is guaranteed by state-of-the-art NFC technology and its own blockchain wallet.
LIMITED EDITION AND POINTS OF SALE
The new Crypto stamp art is limited, there are 2,500 pieces per motif, a total of 10,000 pieces. The face value is 21.80 euros per stamp.
