New appointment for Pos Malaysia “crucial” in creating a more “agile and innovative” postal operator

Pos Malaysia Berhad, the national postal and parcel service provider, today announced the appointment of Shahrin Oli Mohamed as its new Group Chief Technology Officer (CTO), effective 20 October 2025.

In this role, Shahrin will be responsible for leading the company’s overall technology strategy, driving digital innovation, and accelerating the modernisation of Pos Malaysia’s core IT infrastructure. Her appointment is a key step in strengthening the company’s position as a logistics and e-commerce enabler. She will report directly to Charles Brewer, the Group Chief Executive Officer.

Shahrin brings over 20 years of extensive international experience in technology leadership, digital transformation, and IT management across various industries, including energy and fleet solutions. She joins Pos Malaysia from Gartner Gulf, where she served as Executive Partner, providing strategic counsel to boards and C-suite executives across the MENA region, Africa, and India. At Gartner Gulf, she led transformative efforts in digital strategy, data & analytics, innovation and technology across multiple industries.

Her expertise will be pivotal in enhancing Pos Malaysia’s technological capabilities, focusing on key areas such as charting the agentic AI roadmap, automating operations, optimising last-mile delivery solutions, improving customer experience through digital platforms, and fortifying cybersecurity measures.
