Banqup and Post Business Solutions Join Forces
Post Business Solutions, a subsidiary of Austrian Post AG, and Banqup, a European specialist in corporate administration, e-invoicing and payment automation, are jointly launching an integrated solution for electronic invoicing processes and the handling of financial processes.
The regulatory requirements around e-invoices are evolving rapidly across Europe. With the EU directive “VAT in the Digital Age” (ViDA), digital reporting obligations and e-invoices will become mandatory for cross-border B2B transactions from mid-2030 – surrounding countries such as Germany are already implementing corresponding requirements. As a result, the need for integrated, secure and user-friendly services for Austrian companies is also increasing.
This is the background to the new cooperation: it combines Banqup’s robust cloud-native, API-based infrastructure with the “E-Invoice Austria” product, which Post Business Solutions has developed as a seamless all-in-one solution for Austrian SMEs, tax advisors and large companies. This allows sensitive invoice data to be exchanged securely, compliance requirements to be met efficiently, and invoice and payment processes to be bundled on a central European platform.
Benefits of Collaboration
- Local Compliance: All financial workflows comply with Austrian tax regulations and European e-invoicing standards
- Faster payment cycles: Automated payment functions bridge the gap between invoicing and receipt of payments – for better liquidity and more predictable cash flows.
- Process transparency: Complete overview and control of all invoice and payment processes in real time.
- Operational efficiency: Scalable document and data workflows as well as intelligent automation reduce administrative effort and significantly increase the productivity of Austrian companies.
“As a trusted partner of Austrian companies, it is our task to make regulatory changes practical and implementable – and at the same time to use them as an opportunity for further digitalization,” says George Wallner, Managing Director of Post Business Solutions. “Together with Banqup, we offer a solution that is specifically tailored to the Austrian market and at the same time meets European requirements for digital invoicing and reporting obligations.”
“The future of corporate governance in Austria is seamless and interconnected,” adds Alban Olier, Head of Partners and Alliances at Banqup Group. “By combining our technological expertise with the digitalization expertise of Post Business Solutions, we are creating a solution that enables Austrian companies to securely manage their entire financial supply chain – from the first invoice to the final payment – in one place.”
The aim of both companies is to sustainably anchor digital invoicing and payment automation in the Austrian corporate landscape and to further develop it together.
