D.Logistics AG presents a seamless E-commerce solution for hospitals
Effective December 23, 1999, D.Logistics AG acquired a 72 percent ownership of Aescu Data GmbH, Winsen an der Luhe. Aescu Data GmbH is the leading vendor of logistics software for hospitals. More than 450 German clinics operate on Aescu Data software programs. The current executive shareholders continue to work for and hold stakes in the company.
Additionally, on the same date, D.Logistics AG acquired a 51 percent share of PLC GmbH. Similarly, the executive shareholders of PLC remain shareholders and in office. PLC GmbH acts as a clearing house for the E-commerce between hospitals and their suppliers.
Together with the software products of Quantum.Logistics GmbH, D.Logistics AG provides open and integrated E-commerce and E.Logistics solutions that cover the complete supply chain between hospitals and their suppliers on a global basis.
