Purchase of Unicool Shares
Leif Höegh & Co ASA (LHC), presently owning 49.8% of Unicool, has negotiated the main terms of a purchase of its partner’s 50% shareholding in Unicool. LHC aims to sign the contract next week.
Unicool is the world’s leading reefer operator, currently managing 68 vessels, in the two sister companies Cool Carriers and Arctic Reefers.
The purchaser and seller have agreed to keep the purchase price confidential.
The new ownership position in Unicool gives LHC the opportunity to fully take advantage of the strategic options available.
