Rentokil transport arm sold

RENTOKIL INITIAL’S TRANSPORT solutions business, Initial Transport Services, has undergone a management buyout for an undisclosed sum.

The buyout team for the renamed Interoute Transport Services (ITS) was led by managing director Robert Janes.

Janes is being tight-lipped about ITS, but says: “I am now looking forward to leading Interoute Service in its next stage of development.” ITS has 1,300 vehicles and trailers and 26 depots.
