Lex doubts Abbey National home delivery findings

Lex Transfleet has hit back at an Abbey National syrvey which reports thaat British workers spend 56 million days a year waiting at home for deliveries. Lexs Freight Transport Report reveals that 28% of people are actually out when drivers call to deliver goods. David Smith, managing director at Lex Transfleet says: It is outrageous to think of the criticism the transport industry receives when in the case of home shopping, nearly one third of the British public arent there to take in the goods theyve ordered. This is forcing more and more vans and lorries round and round in circles to make return trips.
