Swiss Post continues IncaMail development

Swiss Post is continuing to develop its IncaMail service for the secure and verifiable dispatch of e-mails. The new version, IncaMail 3.0, available as of autumn 2010, is based on a new architecture and includes additional functions.

As such, medium-sized and large companies will have the option of running IncaMail themselves and making it available to their employees under their own auspices.

Thanks to patented direct delivery, the intermediate storage of e-mails at Swiss Post will no longer be necessary. IncaMail 3.0 can be combined with Swiss Post’s digital identity, SuisseID.

IncaMail is being developed further, based on a new architecture. Existing links such as the seamless integration of IncaMail in Outlook or in business software solutions such as Abacus will remain.

Until the new version is launched in the autumn, IncaMail will not be available to new customers. Existing customers can, however, continue to use the current version and will automatically benefit from the new version as of autumn 2010.

IncaMail 3.0 is based on completely revised technology and serves to simplify many aspects. For example, users will be able to convert regular e-mails into secure e-mails with fewer mouse clicks and interim e-mail storage will no longer be necessary thanks to patented direct delivery.
