Kratzer strengthens UK presence with new office

Kratzer Automation has established a UK office for its Logistics Automation division. Headquartered in Nottingham, East Midlands, the company’s new UK presence will “provide local customer support and deepen market penetration in Great Britain and Ireland for its cadisTRANSPORT integrated transport management system,” the company said.

Robert Rubner, COO of Kratzer Automation and head of the Logistics Automation division, said: “Our new branch office in the UK strengthens our position in one of the most interesting logistics markets of Europe. Transport and logistics providers in Britain are improving their track and trace capability in order to obtain competitive advantage and higher service quality.

“We therefore see great potential for our integrated transport management system cadisTRANSPORT. Our goal is to establish Kratzer Automation as a regional market leader within the next three years and to increase the sales volume of the Logistics Automation division by 20-25%.”

Founded in Germany 1980, Kratzer Automation has developed from a three-person software team into a market-leading provider of Fleet and Transport Management Software with over 200 employees internationally.

cadisTRANSPORT TMS helps to automate, document and optimise the working processes of T&L operators. It is a modular system with a central processing platform and has the ability to add a wide range of functional applications. These include ePoD (electronic Proof of Delivery), collections, route loading, image capture, satellite navigation and associated applications, management reporting and streamlined processes.
