New pricing at myHermes.co.uk

Parcel delivery service, myHermes.co.uk, has introduced a new pricing band to increase its offering for customers sending parcels in the UK. The new price band, valid until 25 October, is for parcels weighing 0-1kg and is just £2.75 excluding VAT.

A company statement said: “Not only is the price competitive with main rival Royal Mail, customers can enjoy the luxury of having their parcel collected from their door and not having to queue at the post office.”

Parcels are collected and delivered up to six days a week. Delivery takes between three and five working days and when delivering the parcel, three attempts are made to deliver at the destination, not just an annoying card left after one failed attempt.

Ordering is done online, with door to door collection and delivery taking place through a network of local couriers.

Jon Tobbell, commercial director, at myHermes.co.uk, said: “We are very pleased to introduce this new offer as we want to continually improve the service we provide our customers and trialling this new price band will help us do just that.”

Hermes is part of the Otto group of companies and the myHermes.co.uk service has 7,500 delivery people across the UK.
