Swiss Post Solutions to increase US staff by 10%

Swiss Post Solutions will increase its number of staff in the US by more than 10% in 2011. According to Dan Moscatiello, CEO North America, the company anticipates steady growth this year.

“Swiss Post Solutions had a solid year in 2010 with a very strong fourth quarter, which puts us in a good position for growth in 2011. We have already launched new operations in New York, Chicago and Cleveland this month, and are in the pre-launch phase for several other operations which will go live in Washington, DC, Connecticut and New York during Q1,” Moscatiello said.

In 2010, Swiss Post Solutions more than doubled the company’s geographic presence in the US, opening corporate offices in Washington, DC and Chicago, and launching outsourcing operations in nearly 20 new markets.

“The marketplace has responded positively to our value proposition: service-oriented professionals trained in industry best practices, an unbiased approach to technology, and a focus on cost reduction,” stated Moscatiello. “The fact that we are able to support organisations of all sizes in all industries, from global Fortune 100 corporations and AmLaw Top Ten law firms to local businesses and non-profit agencies has resonated with today’s savvy business executives. Additionally, for employees, our robust training and career development programs are extremely attractive.”

Swiss Post Solutions is a subsidiary of the $8bn Swiss Post organisation. It employs over 7,100 people globally with operations in the US, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Within the US, Swiss Post Solutions is one of the fastest-growing providers of outsourcing solutions. Headquartered in New York City, the company offers a comprehensive suite of outsourcing and information logistics solutions, including mail, records, copy/print/scan, reception, IT, call centre/switchboard, data entry/word processing and more. The company also has corporate offices in Washington, Chicago and Los Angeles.
