Brit-European wins Transmed contract
The contract involves trunking for Phoenix Healthcare Distribution between regional distribution centres and wholesale depots across the UK. A three-stage implementation plan is in place, said Brit-European sales and marketing manager Ed Beresford which, by the end of the year, will see a fleet of 13 new Mercedes Atego 7.5 and 12.5 tonne gvw rigids serving the contract.
Phoenix Pharma-handel is a family owned business formed from the merger of five regional wholesalers in 1994. It currently has and 11 per cent share of the UK Pharmaceutical wholesaling market.
