NZ Post Accused Of Cover-Up

New Zealand Post is being accused by the Act party of trying to cover up the failure of an overseas consultancy job in South Africa.

It follows the leaking of a report into New Zealand Post’s International wing Transend and its failed postal contract with the South African Government.

But Act’s Finance spokesman, Rodney Hide, says what is most concerning is that New Zealand Post denied having the report when asked by a Select Committee in November.

He claims the Committee was misled, as the leaked report was given to New Zealand Post in August last year.
