Comprehensive metals deal for MoD

The Ministry of Defence (MoD) has selected Unipart Defence Logistics in partnership with Apollo as the contractor to manage and supply a wide range of metals in an initial five-year contract, worth an estimated £10 million. The contract encompasses tn-service requirements for a large number of MoD bases and is forecast to generate significant cost savings to the MoD, through a combination of stock management and dramatically improved cross-division traceability.
