AEP Industries awards contract to Meachers Group

AEP Industries UK, flexible film manufacturer, has awarded Meachers Group a major storage and distribution contract. Southampton-based AEP required a service provider that could offer a warehousing facility close to its customer base in the Midlands and could also serve as its logistics provider, offering a seamless turnkey operation from warehouse to customer.

AEP Industries has contracted all of Meachers’ new 14,000 sq ft Derby warehouse, which will handle 500 pallets per month. Stephen Harvey, UK sales manager, AEP, says, “as a global leader in flexible packaging films, we needed a company that would reflect our philosophy of providing our customers with a first rate service.
