Business Express wins bid-up.tv contract

Business Express has won a home delivery contract for bid-up.tv, an interactive auction digital television channel. Sky Digital sub-
scribers order goods from live auctions daily by phone or through the company website. Fulfilment consultants Sports Logistics worked with bid-up.tv to appoint Business Express as sole carrier.
Bid-up.tv operations manager Alan Saunders said: ‘The delivery element of the supply chain is vitally important to the home shopping experience, providing the only customer facing opportunity.”
Business Express is expecting to make 400,000 deliveries in the first year, from bid-up.tv ‘s warehouse and television studios in West London.
