Hanoi Post Office launches ISDN internet service

The Post Office in Vietnam on May 15 officially offered a service called 1267-ISDN that allows users to access the Internet via the Integrated Services Digital Network with high data transmission speeds.

The service also enables the use of hi-tech equipment such as video phones, faxes and personal computers.The 1267-ISDN service costs VND252 (1.7 US cents) per minute from 7am to 7pm on weekdays, VND180 (1.2 US cents) from 7pm to midnight on weekdays, and from 7am to 7pm on weekends, and VND120 (0.8 US cents) at other times.
