Neopost secures national framework agreement from Crown Commercial Service

Mailing solutions provider Neopost has been appointed as a supplier to the national public sector Postal Goods and Services Framework Agreement RM1063. The Framework Agreement is established collectively by Crown Commercial Service, YPO and ESPO and incorporates postal collection and delivery services, postal equipment and digital services.

The Framework Agreement itself is split into seven different Lots, covering postal carrier services, postal equipment and digital services. These Lots encompass both inbound and outbound communications. Neopost has been appointed as a supplier for four Lots within the overall framework agreement. The four Lots for which Neopost has been appointed are:

  • Lot 2 – Hybrid Mail On-Site Solution
  • Lot 3 – Hybrid Mail Off-Site Solution
  • Lot 5 – Franking Machines and Mailroom Equipment
  • Lot 7 – Off-Site Digital Inbound Mail Solution

According to a statement issued by Neopost on Tuesday (28 April), the framework’s estimated value is between £400,000,000 and £1,500,000,000 across all seven Lots. The contract has been awarded for an initial period of three years, with an option to extend for a further 12 months.

“This new agreement offers customers significant savings in cost and efficiencies and offers a fully compliant procurement route, maximising visibility of price and quality,” said Neopost.

Paul Goodbrand, Director – Public Sector Strategy at Neopost, commented: “Neopost looks forward to assisting central government and the wider public sector, in meeting requirements for traditional mail products and services, whilst providing advice and insight into migrating to the delivery of more digital processes and services in the future.”
