Wincanton continuing to “prioritise reducing net indebtedness”

Logistics company Wincanton announced its latest annual results yesterday (4 June), reporting that a revenue growth of 0.9% was “underpinned by a strong programme of renewals and new wins delivered across all sectors”. Group revenues were £1,107.4m, while underlying operating profits grew by 3.5% from £48.0m to £49.7m.

The company said that it has “continued to prioritise reducing net indebtedness and actively managing the risks arising from its pension obligations”.

In the home delivery sector, Wincanton   offers a range of services, including: white glove service and two-man home deliveries; one-man pick, pack and despatch service for home accessories and small furniture; furniture delivery six days a week within a two-hour delivery window; and returns management and  processing of goods back to stock.
