Omniva reports 10% increase in parcel volumes
Omniva, the Estonian postal operator, has reported that the volume of parcels that it handled in the first six months of 2015 was 10% up on last year, driven by e-commerce. Omniva Group is the parent company of Eesti Post Ltd (Estonia Post), as well as Payment Centre Estonia Ltd, Omniva UAB in Lithuania and Omniva SIA in Latvia.
The company added: “The largest increase occurred in the number of parcels sent by parcel machines – approximately by 50%. Because of the growing demand for parcel machines, Omniva has continued to expand its network of parcel machines in Estonia and Latvia.”
Omniva has a total of 194 parcel machines in the Baltic States: with 104 in Estonia, 46 in Latvia, and 44 in Lithuania. This makes Omniva the biggest company in the Baltic States offering parcel machine services.

Within the past six months, the volume of universal domestic letter service has decreased by 18% and profits of the service were 2.6% of the Group’s commercial revenues.”
The volume of advertising services, however, was up 13% compared to the first half of 2014, and company also strong growth in “e-invoices”.
Omniva Group’s commercial revenues of the first six months of 2015 were €34m, up 19% on last year. Net profit was €800,000.
