Update on Google Express in California

Following reports that Google Express is looking to shut both its San Francisco and Mountain View delivery hubs, sources are now saying that the company has been talking to on-demand delivery providers about outsourcing services. Local media have claimed that Postmates and Flywheel could be among the companies that Google Express has approached.

Postmates, which was established in 2011 and is now active in cities across the United States, announced last week that it has expanded its coverage in California by adding Long Beach and Sacramento to its network.
