Online shoe shop’s sales boosted by ‘one click’ order fulfilment system

Cheshire-based online shoe shop ShuWish has seen a 15% increase in international sales, following its decision to implement a ‘one click’ order fulfilment system. The company, which delivers around 25,000 consignments of women’s shoes every year via its own e-commerce website, Amazon, eBay and other international marketplaces, has also achieved a five-star rating for “despatch time” on eBay.

Before it introduced the new system, ShuWish had to import order data in csv format for input into a despatch solution. With orders being processed three or four times a day, this became time consuming and the company needed to streamline the procedure.

ShuWish now has a seamless integration with Royal Mail straight out of the ChannelAdvisor platform, with NetDespatch handling all the data behind the scenes, automatically producing the correct Royal Mail 2D barcoded shipping labels and notifying the carrier that packages are ready for collection. It also updates their Online Billing Account.

Martin Banak, IT Manager, ShuWish, said that new system is much quicker and more efficient, adding: “100% of our orders are placed online.”
