Shipsy raises new funding

Gurgaon-based Llama Logisol, which owns the parcel delivery service provider Shipsy, has secured more funding which it plans to use to fuel its expansion plans. According to local sources, the funding was led by Dheeraj Jain, a partner at Redcliffe Capital, and other investors included early stage investor Udaan Angel Partners and a number of “wealthy individuals”.

The company, which was set up early this year by Soham Chokshi, Dhruv Agrawal and Maharshi Devraj, says that it can arrange “overnight deliveries to all major cities” using its network of courier service providers.
