DHgate.com opens new Los Angeles warehouse

E-commerce specialist DHgate.com has opened a new one-stop overseas warehouse in Los Angeles. The warehouse officially opened on 11 September.

According to DHgate.com: “The one-stop solution is different from other overseas warehouses in that it enables sellers and buyers to finish the whole purchasing process on the same platform without logging in to a third party service provider.”

The company said that this will “shorten the delivery period, improve customer experience, and make the return/exchange and refund process smoother”.

In a statement issued on Thursday (24 September), DHgate.com said that it “plans to stock its Los Angeles warehouse with many types of products based on the needs of US business buyers”.

The company added: “The first cargo, which includes products like popular electronics, is already on its way from DHgate.com’s China warehouses to the US warehouse.”

DHgate.com uses website to connect China-based SMEs with overseas buyers.

Founded in 2004, DHgate.com says that it has “nearly 10 million global buyers from 230 countries and regions, with 1.2 million Chinese sellers offering 33 million products”.
