Former City Link directors to be prosecuted

Three former directors of the failed UK courier company City Link are set to be prosecuted under the Trade Union and Labour Relations (Consolidation) Act 1992. The proceedings against David Smith, Robert Peto and Thomas Wright are set to take place on 5-6 November at Coventry Magistrates’ Court.

The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) is bringing the prosecution on behalf of the Insolvency Service.

City Link went into administration just before Christmas 2014, with more than 2,500 employees laid off on New Year’s Eve.
