New sales director and further investment for Tryzens

Retail systems integrator Tryzens has announced that it has appointed Tom Fischer as Sales and Marketing Director and also secured growth investment from Scottish Equity Partners (SEP). Fischer recently served as CEO of Prologic plc, a provider of ERP solutions for fashion retailers. Prior to Prologic, Fischer was Divisional Manager of SAP’s UK retail business, notably growing software licence revenues during the recession. Fischer has previously served as VP EMEA at Pay By Touch, a biometric payment start-up and as VP Northern Europe at Retek, Inc., prior to and after its initial public offering.

Over the past year, Tryzens has delivered a range of solutions to retailers looking to expand and enhance their online capabilities. The clients have included fashion brands ranging from Jack Wills, Austin Reed and Woodhouse, through to luxury jeweller, Annoushka, and Dunelm the national homeware brand.

Andy Burton, CEO of Tryzens, also reported that the company helped its clients have a successful Black Friday last month.  “We worked closely with our clients to improve the operation of their websites in the build up to Black Friday which resulted in strong sales and no outages for our clients over this peak trading period,” said Burton.
