Ketra Logistics serves up new vehicles

Ketra Logistics, a member of the Palletways palletised freight network, has invested £60,000 in two double deck trailers to support a recently-won contract with professional catering products specialists, Nevilles.
The logistics company will be handling around 20,000 pallets a year for Nevilles.

Genware is the brand name for Nevilles, a family owned-business established in 1965 which provides tableware and light catering equipment to the hospitality industry in the UK and Ireland.

Martyn Young, Managing Director at Ketra Logistics, commented: “This investment in branded vehicles cements our partnership with Nevilles and shows just how committed we are in working with them. The three-year contract is great news for us and supports our growth plans to be market leaders in the distribution of palletised freight in South East England.  Our collaboration will also enable us to explore new market opportunities in the hospitality and catering industry.”

Tristan Jones, Operations Director at Nevilles, added: “We are delighted with the new lorries, which are a fantastic way to promote our Genware brand and messaging on the move.

“We’ve been working with Ketra for nearly a year now and have been impressed by the company’s local team and service, the nationwide network and its state-of-the-art IT systems. Our partnership will also enable us to explore new opportunities outside of the UK, thanks to its ties with the Palletways network which offers delivery services across Europe.”

Established in 1979, Ketra Logistics employs more than 40 people in London and its 30-strong fleet handles over 170,000 pallets a year.
