German and Colombian companies to integrate parcel service

The German DHL company, which specializes in express air transport, and the Colombian parcel delivery service TCC have signed an agreement which will help the companies offer a more integrated service. In he first stage of the agreement will allow the TCC service centers to receive packages to be sent out of the country via DHL. This will extend the range of countries to which TCC can send packages. In the second stage, it is hoped, packages arriving via DHL will be delivered in Colombia by TCC. The Colombian company will transport 8.5mil packages this year, for an income of Pesos$100bil. DHL is active in 220 countries and has 71,000 employees.
