EPG promotes its  Public P.O. Box service

Emirates Post Group (EPGI is promoting its Public P.O. Box service, which allows people to have UAE mailing address without owning a P.O. Box.

In a notice posted on its website today, EPG said that the Public Post Box service is offered to residents as well as visitors, allowing people to have an address for receiving mail through dedicated post boxes at all post offices across the UAE.

EPG’s Chief Commercial Officer Ibrahim Bin Karam said: “The Public Post Box is yet another innovative and community-oriented service from Emirates Post, aimed at fulfilling the long-felt need for providing a UAE address to people who cannot own individual mail boxes. For a small fee, they can have a mailing address in the UAE.”

The Public Post Box service is offered at all post offices across the country, and each location has been assigned a P.O. Box number, such as Abu Dhabi Central (P.O. Box 111188), Al Ain Central (P.O. Box 222288), Dubai Central Karama (P.O. Box 333388), Deira Main (P.O. Box 444488), Sharjah Central (P.O. Box 555588), Ajman Central (P.O. Box 666688), Umm Al Quwain Central (P.O. Box 777788), Fujairah Central (P.O. Box 888888) and Ras Al Khaimah Central (999988).

The charges for the service range from 50 fils to Dh3 per piece, depending on the type of mail and its weight.
