The adidas Group has commissioned KNAPP with the automation of its new e-commerce centre in Rieste bei Osnabrück. KNAPP will be providing an all-in-shuttle solution which it says will allow adidas “strong growth in the business” and “make it possible for them to react flexibly to the changing demands in the sportswear sector”.

Gerald Hofer, CEO of KNAPP AG, commented: “The flexible OSR Shuttle solution provides access at all times to all articles and gives the adidas Group the independence needed for future business development. The entire solution is modularly constructed and can be easily expanded. ”

The new system is schedule to become operational in 2018.
