Saica Group buys Americk Packaging

The Spanish-owned Saica Group has bought Americk Packaging. Assuming the deal is approved by the Irish Competition and Consumer Protection Commission, Saica will have full ownership of Americk Packaging, which has six manufacturing sites in Ireland and the UK and an annual turnover of around £11om.

Americk Packaging has said that the acquisition will not affect its current operations which will continue to be managed by the existing senior management team. The company supplies packaging to a variety of sectors including FMCG and Healthcare.
