Omniva to set up new logistics centre near Tallinn

The national postal and logistics company Omniva has announced that it aims to set up a new logistics centre in the Estonian town of Juri, near Tallinn. Omniva plans to relocate from its current logistics centre in Tallinn’s Pallasti Street to the new building in the autumn of 2018.

Ansi Arumeel, member of the management board at Omniva, said that the company’s goal was to “build the best and most contemporary logistics centre in the Baltic countries”.

The new logistics centre will employ at least 300 people and receive a new parcel sorting line, for which the procurement is under way.

According to Arumeel, the current logistics centre at Pallasti Street will be put up for sale with the stipulation that the company can operate in the building until the new building is completed in 2018.
