Sovereign Transport invests £2m in new depot
Merseyside-based Sovereign Transport has invested £2m in its new Knowsley depot, with which it plans to “help meet the growing demand for palletised freight services across the region”. Sovereign Transport, part of the Palletways express palletised freight network, has relocated its 55 staff and 30-strong fleet to the four-acre site at Knowsley Industrial Park.
The new premises will help staff process in excess of 25,000 pallets per month with plans to increase monthly volumes by almost 9,000 pallets in 2017.
