Ezyhaul closes seed funding round

Singapore-based logistics technology company Ezyhaul has closed a s$1.2m (US$836,000) seed investment round. Founded in April 2016 by Raymond Gillon, Mudasar Mohamed, and Nicky Lum, Ezyhaul has been described as “Uber for trucks”, It gets transport companies to do deliveries for its clients, operating on a commission fee, and provides shippers with real-time tracking of the trucks and proof of delivery.

Ezyhaul is currently active in Singapore and Malaysia. According to local sources, it has 500 trucks on its platform.

The company reportedly has plans to roll out to more Asian countries in 2017/
