FedEx opens new Milan-Malpensa facility

FedEx Express has opened its new hub at Milan-Malpensa Airport. The new 35,000-square-metre “mini hub” is three times the size of FedEx’s former facility at the airport, making it the company’s third largest cargo hub in Europe, behind Paris CDG and Cologne.

FedEx Express Europe president David Binks commented: “Expanding our operations in Malpensa is a key part of our network growth strategy, creating more capacity and enabling more business connections in Europe and around the world.”
