PostNord teams up with CargoLine

PostNord has signed an agreement with CargoLine which will give PostNord full access to CargoLine’s import and export networks. PostNord will initially distribute goods for CargoLine in the Swedish market. And in the other direction, PostNord will pick up goods in Sweden destined for distribution in the CargoLine networks in Germany and the rest of Europe.

“CargoLine provides PostNord’s customers with access to one of Europe’s most well-established and skilled networks for groupage cargo. The new agreement allows us to strengthen our groupage cargo services for both imports and exports in Sweden,” said PostNord Sweden CEO Anders Holm.

In a statement issued today (6 March), PostNord said that over the past three years it has focused on strengthening its range of services in the areas of full and part loads and of groupage cargo, from and within the Nordic region – and the deal with a CargoLine is a natural step forward.

“PostNord is the leading supplier of logistics and e-commerce services in the Nordic region and as a result of our collaboration we can offer high levels of quality to CargoLine’s customers via PostNord’s comprehensive distribution network in Sweden,” said Managing Director of CargoLine Bernd Höppner.

PostNord already had agreements with several international networks, including the European parcel network DPD and also Palletways, a similar network focusing on the distribution of pallets.

The cooperation agreement with CargoLine came into force on 1 March.
