Post&Parcel launches new Live Seminars
Post&Parcel will be launching a new series of live events called Post&Parcel Live. Post&Parcel Live events are one-day content and discussion led seminars for professionals involved in the mail and express industry. They will feature keynote speeches from prominent experts, case studies from successful operators and open discussions with the audience and speakers.
Post&Parcel’s editor, Ian Taylor said:
“Post&Parcel has grown tremendously since its inception in 2009 and really has become one of the definitive voices in the mail and express industry. We take great pride in keeping our readers up to date with the latest news and developments through our website so it felt only natural to bring that experience offline and into the real world. Post&Parcel Live is a wonderful opportunity to bring together the mail and express community to share best practice and debate the big issues we face in an increasingly turbulent future.”
The first seminar, Solving the Inner City Challenge, will be taking place at the Hallam Conference Centre in London on April 27. This Seminar will focus on the challenges facing retailers and carriers delivering in an inner city environment.
Topics will include planning, environmental and employment constraints for inner city delivery, autonomous vehicles, robots and drones and the future of smart cities.
Solving the Inner City Challenge will be followed by two subsequent events looking at supply chain success and postal considerations on May 17 and June 20 respectively.
Tom Ross-Joannou, Managing Director of Media and Events at Triangle Management Services (Post&Parcel’s publisher) commented:
“We’re really excited to be launching these events with our Post&Parcel team. Triangle has over 30 years of experience delivering industry leading events and Post&Parcel Live adds an interesting dynamic to our existing portfolio of World Mail & Express Conferences. The industry has been crying out for reasonably priced, learning based events and we think delegates will take away plenty of practical insights from these seminars.”
