Carrefour extending express delivery service to Lyon

Carrefour is reportedly extending the coverage of its ‘Livraison Express’ delivery service to Lyon. The retailer launched the service last year and it is already up and running in Paris, Neuilly-sur-Seine, Levallois, Malakoff, Vanves and Bagnolet. It will reportedly be available in Lyon from next month (May).

Customers can select items from a list of around 3,000 everyday food and grocery products and have their purchase delivered to them within the hour. They can also select a 30-minute delivery slot.

According to local media sources, the delivery service operates between 9 am and 10 pm Monday to Saturday and is carried out by Stuart – the on demand delivery specialist which is now owned by Geopost.
