Target launches “next-day essentials delivery” pilot in Minneapolis

Retailer Target has launched a “next-day essentials delivery” pilot in the Minneapolis area. The service – called “Target Restock” – is now available to Target REDcard holders throughout the Twin Cities (Minneapolis-Saint Paul) for a flat fee of $4.99 per delivery box.

Online shoppers – or “guests”, as Target prefers to call them – can choose from a range of more than 10,000 “essential” products. As they fill up their delivery box, a grey bar at the top of their screen will show the percentage of space each item in the box has taken up and the percentage of space that’s left.

The orders are fulfilled from a nearby Target store.

As previously reported by Post&Parcel, Target first announced its plans to launch Restock as a pilot in Minneapolis in early May.
