Hellmann is dedicated to going worldwide

Hellmann Worldwide Logistics is setting up a dedicated division focusing totally on integrated logistics services.
Hellmann Integrated Logistics Solutions will be headquartered in Miami and headed by Michael Claus, MD of Hellmann Network Inc, but will operate globally.

Jost Hellmann, managing partner of the group, said integration supply chain solutions were in growing demand from customers.

“The bundling of supply chain analysis and design with value-added services, warehousing, distribution, and intercontinental transport and distribution under one roof will provide the necessary single point of entry required to provide true, global solutions across a customer ‘s total supply chain, ” he said.

The new division is targeting medium-sized multinational companies in the electronics/hi-tech, automotive, fashion, industrial equipment and consumer goods industries, with particular emphasis on the China to US trade.

Claus said: “Many of our 3PL competitors talk global, but in practice have difficulty taking decisions across multiple national boundaries and speaking with one voice to the multinational customer.”
